The Walker Cup is a biennial amateur golf team competition between teams from the United States and Great Britain and Ireland. First played in 1922, it is the second-oldest international team competition in golf, after the Ryder Cup. The 2025 Walker Cup will be the 49th edition of the event and is scheduled to be held at St Andrews in Scotland from September 6-8, 2025.
The Walker Cup is one of the most prestigious events in amateur golf, and it is considered to be the amateur equivalent of the Ryder Cup. The competition is played over three days, with four foursomes matches and eight singles matches. The team with the most points at the end of the competition is declared the winner.
