The 2025 Philippine general election is scheduled to be held on May 12, 2025, to elect a new president, vice president, 12 senators, 300 members of the House of Representatives, and eight regional governors.
The election is significant as it will mark the first time that the president will be elected for a single six-year term without the possibility of re-election. It will also be the first election held under the new Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), which was created in 2019.
